Season 11 Conclusion
Happy Tuesday!
I am so sorry for the late email. I am sure most of you have moved on by now,
but we concluded our 11th season with a competitive Finals game, and a
drama-filled All Star game.
Justin Philobos was able to get his 2nd championship in a row by defeating Ricky
Dorn’s team. All the momentum favored Dorns in My Side for the first 2/3 of the
game, but a switch flipped on in the second half and 99 Problems started hitting
shot after shot and could not be denied. He will look to achieve the coveted
3-peat (don’t tell Pat Riley I used it here). The last team to win 2 in a row
was Sawyer McKenzie, who was absent this past season due to being a new father.
All eyes are on Justin next season to see if he can accomplish what no other
captain has yet. What will be his draft strategy? Who will be his co-captain?
All the answers to this will come in time…
The All Star game was, according to sources, super fun and competitive. I
believe there was a half court buzzer beating heave by Jacob Brummett to send
the game into overtime. You can catch the game on our Youtube if you missed
out.
For those who don’t know (or need a reminder), we have 2 seasons each year. Our
next season usually starts in September. We will be sending out emails a month
or two before the start of the season. You will also (maybe) find a post on IG.
Spots fill up quickly, so make sure you register to secure a roster spot!
Thank you all for another successful season!
